Sachin is a leading authority in real estate asset valuations in India with over 24 years’ experience ranging from real estate valuations and finance, valuations sector policy and regulatory guidelines, urban sector policy and regulatory framework analyses, city planning, and building architecture. Sachin, in his last role, was Senior Director and Head of Valuations, JLL India. In this tenure with JLL that lasted for 16 years, Sachin oversaw valuations of more than 1,500 large-scale properties (+ >19,500 strata properties), including portfolio valuations and stand-alone real estate asset valuations, best use option studies, feasibility studies, and location consulting. His extensive experience in property valuations covers most asset classes, namely residential, commercial office, retail developments, hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, and industrial properties, among others at varying stages of development ranging from vacant lands, projects under construction, to developed and operational properties. All of these valuations were based on varying techniques, while adopting the International Valuation Standards (IVS) and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Valuation Standards and Guidelines. He features in the global list of RICS Trained Assessors. Sachin has a Post-graduate Diploma in Banking and Financial Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Sciences (India), Masters Degree in Urban Planning from School of Planning and Architecture (India), and Bachelors Degree in Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture (India).
